From visiting to visitor…

Papamoa Beach, NZ (my photo – don’t steal it)

After a good week away and freaking out by the amount of plastic we consumed and realising that was our the norm (thank goodness not any more) we found ourselves with visitors. Visitors who grocery shop fresh every day and whole embraced our bread and spreadable butter, yet we were still faced with plastic consumption.

Lovely visitors but plastic consuming visitors. Thankfully they embraced where possible and were curious to know why we were doing it and how we were going about it.

We chatted over home made ginger beer about solid shampoos, bread makers, delis and what will you do when you in out of meat in the freezer (will cross that bridge in 6 months) and I hope that all our visitors are just as embracing and supportive and I hope that they too become plastic free globe trotters.
